UB Video Interview: Ester Dean Speaks on “Pitch Perfect” & New Music

Singer, Songwriter and now Actress Ester Dean sat down with Josiah from UrbanBridgez.com recently to discuss her role in the new film “Pitch Perfect” which opens nationwide today! Although I went in with low expectations, Pitch Perfect definitely exceeded them and proved to be a very solid movie from Jason Moore. Anna Kendrick, Brittany Snow, Anna Camp and Rebel Wilson pulled out great performances. Newcomer Ester Dean was also a nice surprise and definitely pulled weight in her very first film debut.

Pitch Perfect couldn’t have come out a better time with the huge success of shows like Glee and all the talent singing competitions filling up the tube currently today. Although the films’ female lead and supporting actresses steal the show, the male characters are also entertaining and quite funny.

From beginning till end, film watchers will be thoroughly entertaining with this college life meets funny or die sketch comedy. I predict Pitch Perfect will definitely be a surprise hit at the box office garnering enough interest for a sequel.
